Bauer Farming East Africa Ltd is an export company that is dealing in Agricultural Produce categorized as Fresh food products such as Fuerte Avocados, Hash Avocados, Sugar snaps, Snow peas, Chillies, French Beans, Ginger and Garlic.
We farm in different parts of Kenya and pride ourselves in strong relationships with farmers from different parts of Kenya. We deal with individual farmers as well as groups. Over the years we have had great support from our contract farmers (out growers) and we owe a lot to them.
We are careful in the choice of farms in terms of assessing the ability of the farms to sustain our supply lines to our clients by looking at their capacity. In all levels of the production process, we have qualified and certified employees in their roles. The adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is ensured by a qualified Agronomists. His main duties are ensuring proper crop rotation, ensuring that the right and approved pesticides are used at the appropriate levels and periods during the process. ensures proper working conditions and all employees and fully sensitized on Health and Safety procedures.
We are able to fully trace produce to the exact block from which the it was harvested. From the farm, the produce is fully identifiable by the use of a labeling system which ensures that produce recall can be done accurately should need be.
